"Sister Wives" Meri Brown has just publicly admitted to her infidelity on the show's finale, aired on Nov. 15. Now, her lover is threatening to write a tell-all book that would further expose Meri's indecent act.
"I stayed up all night finishing my book. The first draft is done. Now I get to work with my editor over the next few weeks to fix it," Meri's lover wrote on a blog called Not Batman Yet, dated Dec. 6.
On the season 6 finale of "Sister Wives," Meri confessed that she has maintained an affair with a 40-something businessman claiming to be Sam Cooper over the Internet. She later discovered that he was actually a woman named Jackie Overton, a scammer who has had brushes with the authorities.
To date, Meri's "catfish" still insists that he is really Sam Cooper, and his blog is even named under Cooper's identity.
"For about the 100th time, I did not catfish her. I am a guy named Samuel. [Meri] will claim I sent her fake photos, she will say we did not have sex, and she will say that I deceived her. All lies," he wrote on Nov. 10. "She is doing all she can to set herself up the innocent victim and preparing America to witness the 'real story' behind all the headlines. Reality TV is not real."
However, he has not revealed his real self on public, only limiting his statements through the blog. Cooper/Overton has been using the blog to post evidences of their sordid affair, even publishing intimate pictures of Meri and recorded voice calls.
On the other hand, Meri maintains that their affair was purely "emotional," and she has not met up with Cooper/Overton.
"I've never met this person, I've never seen him," Meri said during the "Sister Wives" tell-all episode last Nov. 22.
Her husband Kody has expressed his support and love for Meri despite this scandal.
"We will keep our family together with LOVE and solidarity!" he tweeted after the special aired.
While Meri's catfish said that his book will not be to ruin Meri and her polygamous family, he confirms that it will include the timeline of their relationship.
"I told my story following the timeline I have of the texts and voicemails. I have only posted half of all the stuff I have. I kept some that I will never share because it's too personal. The rest tells the stories no one knows about," the catfish wrote, adding that the tell-all book will be released before Christmas as an e-book.
"It's finally over for me and I'm ready for it to be done. I am moving on," he concluded.
