'Ratchet and Clank' Release Update: PS4 Rebooted Version Features Movie-Like Graphics, Compilation of Different Story Elements, Gameplay; Use Pixelator to Metamorphose Enemies

"Ratchet and Clank" rebooted had a playable presentation during the recently held Sony's Playstation Experience. Reviews have compiled that it can be truly enjoyed even by someone with no gaming experience.

"Ratchet and Clank" rebooted's most notable feature, which any gamer will not fail to notice is its graphics. The game's graphics on PS4 are actually singing and the gameplay appears to be like the animated film. Every detail of the game, from the vagueness of Ratchet to Clank's metallic shine, all seem to be so prominent, Games Radar reported.

The "Ratchet and Clank" playable demo also went fairly well. Platforming was controlled and shooting controls were noticeably perfect. Although it took a couple of minutes for the rope swinging functions to work properly, it later began to swing naturally, platform to platform.

"Ratchet and Clank" should note though that this game is not a direct remake from the first "Ratchet & Clank." It is called, re-imagining, where the story elements and gameplay are taken from various games throughout the series. It simply means that weapons from different "Ratchet & Clank" games are to be included in the latest game, in addition to the weapons from its original game. Some never before seen weapons in the game such as Pixelator that changes the enemies into the retro 8-big images are also included.

"Ratchet and Clank" upcoming April 12 game release date is going to be an ideal start for the game series' new fans and the best re-entry for gamers who have not been able to play "Ratchet & Clank" for some time, iDigital Times shared. Find out where the game developer Insomniac will bring the re-imagined game of Ratchet & Clank and discover for yourself which of the game entries has the better version, the re-imagined or the original one.
