"Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" comics has recent updates featuring stylish teens. Kyle Higgins, the comic writer, thinks that his Green Ranger a combination of Han Solo or Wolverine. Find out why.
io9 reports that the suits of the "Power Ranger" may look the same but the teens behind those iconic outfits have great sense of style. It is noted that these teens are quite the opposite of the previous heroes. "Boom studio's new 'Power Rangers' comic: these are teenagers with attitude and really nice clothes."
The concept art of the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" has been revealed exclusively by Comic Alliance. The concept is conceptualized by none other than Hendry Prasetya. The heroes are portrayed by modern rangers. In their civilian outfits, they all look "almost absurdly fashionable and handsome."
Report says that the characters are on their pretty nice designed clothes. Each looks pretty modern and stylish. However, all of them, despite their modern and chic looks, "still managed to do the thing where each character wears their respective 'Ranger' color." It is anticipated that if the story of the "Power Rangers" will be as good as they look, then this comics of Kyle Higgins and Hendry Prasetya will be in "for one hell of a treat when the series kicks off with a special prelude issue next month."
In a recent interview of Kyle Higgins with IGN, he interestingly described Green Ranger as a hero with the combination of Han Solo and Wolverine. He explained that like Wolverine, Green Ranger didn't want his power. It was against his will that he would have it. The comic writer also went one saying that "there's a little bit of a Han Solo quality about him-the slight "bad-boy" edginess, if that makes any sense."
Aside from talking about his stylish teens in their "Rangers" suits. He was also asked if he's affected with is work now that the "Power Rangers" movie is also in development. But Higgins simply that he wasn't although he revealed that sometime "Saban will come back with a note that we need to steer away from something because the movie is doing it, but other than that, they're completely separated beasts."
