After downloading the latest "Fallout 4" update, fans discovered that it patched out the infinite bottle caps glitch. It was not declared on the patch note, leaving some of the fans a little upset.
Bugs and glitches are unavoidable especially with a massive game like the Fallout 4. Bethesada, as expected, recognized it quickly and patched it out. So, for those who are looking to take advantage of one of the game's biggest exploits, this is somewhat frustrating.
According to GameRant, the infinite bottle cap glitch no longer works after downloading the update for "Fallout 4," and in order to utilize the glitch, players will have to completely remove the game, reinstall it and choose not to download the update.
This will definitely upset some fans. Some of them feel that these kinds of glitches should remain, and updates for games should only remove the harmful ones. A glitch like the infinite bottle caps could eventually help someone playing the game on the system without console commands, like focusing on just the settlement building instead of exploring the wasteland to find some resources, as an example.
Another thing that annoys the game fans is the fix for the said glitch was not even listed in the patch notes. "Fallout 4" is just a single player game, so some players may choose not to download the update if they are aware that it will patch out the infinite bottle cap glitch. Bethesda can simply put this in notes, unless, it was done to prevent the players from doing so.
