Freebies from 'Halo 5: Guardians': Daily Free Req Packs and A Free Update Coming Next Week

Fans will now have more reasons to keep playing "Halo 5: Guardians," the first person shooter game developed by 343 Industries exclusively for Xbox One.

According to Gamespot, 343 Industries has announced the special reward system aimed at fans who play "Halo 5: Guardians" daily. In a recent live video coverage, "Halo Live stream: Cartographer's Gift," it was said that 343 has started rewarding players up to two free Req packs daily by simply playing multiplayer modes Arena and Warzone. But there is one condition, the player needs to win a match on either mode to get the free Req pack. Req packs are not rare, but getting them for free is good news.

Besides the daily free req packs, there's another free treat underway for "Halo 5: Guardians" from 343 Industries. According to halowaypoint.com, the free update called "Cartographer's Gift" arrives next week. The update will bring "Forge, new Arena and Warzone maps, Seasons and social playlists, brand new REQs, and more" as stated on the official Halo news site.

Moreover, official Halo news site announces that the free update, "Cartographer's Gift," will bring back SPNKr Rocket Launcher that the website describes as " the dual-tubed tool of destruction that comes in 4 flavors." The free update will also introduce new content along with the full set of Gold Standard weapon skins.

But prior to this upcoming update, 343 industries has deployed in mid-November the "Battle of Shadow and Light" update which, according to halowaypoint.com, introduced Big Team Battle in Arena matchmaking, new maps, brand-new REQs, and vehicular combat. Then as previously reported, "Halo 5" fans were promised that the "Halo 5 Forge Tools" will be making a comeback, along with new content in a December update.

Now that promise is just a week away as the "Cartographer's Gift" free update arrives just in time for the holidays.
