NBA 2015 News: Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry Aims to Surpass NBA Great, Michael Jordan's Success

Stephen Curry might just be a few steps away from surpassing Michael Jordan, as the Golden State Warriors point guard played a remarkable performance that has given their team an NBA record of having the best season starter in the NBA history.

When Stephen Curry was interviewed by ESP Magazine, he said that he is trying to surpass  Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, or to at least be as great as Jordan. For him, there is no other reason for playing other than wanting to be the best that he can be, and if by being the best would mean to be better than the NBA great, then he says that this would be his motivation. But the 27-year-old Curry was quick to clarify that he has no intention of copying Michael Jordan in every way. He said that he is doing his best to climb his way up by being himself, CBS Sports reported.

Following a 2015 NBA Championship title, the team began the current season with their record-breaking start, their initial four games having been won along with their 100-pt margin. All these made everyone recognize him as the team's main man. With his performance, Curry is not only doing it his way, he is also doing things better. Based on the numbers, Jordan may have made better numbers on the initial title season and Curry did better on the second, yet Curry was able to smash beyond some numbers of the greatest of all time.

Stephen Curry, no doubt, is bringing a transformation to the NBA game, although Michael Jordan remains the greatest basketball player of all time.  Curry is doing those shootings from 35 feet with so much ease that one would think that he is making it effortlessly. With his numbers looking good and if more titles will be won, Stephen Curry's dream of joining the ranks of Michael Jordan may most likely come true, Ecumenical News wrote.
