Samsung Galaxy S7 Rumors: Exynos 8890, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 Variants; Micro-SD Slot Revived, Glass-Metal Combi, AMOLED, 1440 x 2516 Resolution Come Dec 2016

Samsung Galaxy S7 has been on the rumor mill just a few days after the Galaxy S6 has been released. Lately, the rumors concentrate more on the specs and features of the next flagship phone of the South Korean tech giant, which hardcore Samsung fans cannot simply ignore.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors are saying that it will have two variants with regard to the processor, their homegrown Exynos 8890 and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820. Based on the leaked benchmark test, the Exynos 8890 performed perfectly well with very high scores. The Snapdragon 820 also gave remarkable results, pumping out power as much as the Apple's A9 chip.

However, one concern with the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 is its heat management system, as everybody knows, its predecessor suffered some heat management issue. Currently, it is now rumored that a liquid cooling system will be used for the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820, Android Authority reported.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is also rumored to be bringing back the MicroSD slot, which favors many of the hardcore fans of the phone maker. It is also said that the next flagship phone will be sticking with the glass and metal combination, which was aesthetically great. Moreover, it will be with either a 5.1 or 5.2-inch, AMOLED, 1440 x 2516 resolution, as well as will be protected by a Gorilla Glass 4.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 price is said to be around 10 percent lower than its predecessor. Rumors suggest that Samsung will be lowering the price because of the weak market share of the Galaxy S6.

Just a few days ago, a leaked Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus rendering surfaced and provided some interesting information. Based on the leaked images, no MicroSD slot and USB Type-C port can be seen, but it provided information on the size, which is at 163.32 x 82.01 x 7.82mm, GSM Arena reported.

Samsung Galaxy S7 will be unveiling a week before MWC, on Feb. 21.
