According to Soap Opera Spy, Elrod has already begun filming. His part is said to be included in an upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy."

Meanwhile, Elrod is still seen on "Y&R," and his character Joe Clark is currently in the middle of a huge storyline. He is lusting after Cane Ashby's (Daniel Goddard) wife, Lily (Christel Khalil), and he has come up with a scheme to frame Cane so he could get Lily.

Now that Elrod has scored a role in a primetime series, fans are wondering if he will be leaving "Y&R" soon. However, ABC has not released a statement as to whether the actor will be guesting only for one episode, or if he will have a recurring role.

Elrod is no stranger to primetime shows. He has previously appeared in "CSI: NY," "CSI: Miami," and "NCIS: Los Angeles."
