'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' News: Game Developer Naughty Dog Moving Forward After This Game

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" game developer Naughty Dog is set to end the adventures of Nathan Drake. The team behind one of the most successful franchises in the gaming industry has expressed that they would want to explore other projects besides this game.

Robert Cogburn, Naughty Dog's Lead Game Designer, had the opportunity to express the team's plans during the recently concluded PlayStation Experience 2015. He said that the "Uncharted" series is already maxed out in terms of realism, as far as the game is concerned. It is already parallel to the present day Earth and is getting difficult to expand, making "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" the last of the series, as shared by Kotaku.

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is the fourth installment of the game and, as Cogburn added, they are getting tired of the routine and the team would like to explore other ideas that will be available to them. "It's gonna be fun for us to really embark on new ideas and start fleshing those out [in a new series]," Cogburn stated.

The "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has also put Cogburn and his team of great guys feel that they are just inside a box and cannot stretch their wings anymore. They have a lot of great ideas to try on in other projects, and the "Uncharted" series has just suppressed that feeling.

Cogburn was joking when asked about an idea of "Uncharted Goes To Space" kind of game. He replied that Naughty Dog had that idea in mind already, but it never really took off. They even had a brainstorming session, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is the upcoming fourth installment in Nathan Drake's Adventure. It is a highly successful action-adventure third-person shooter platform and is slated to be released on March 18, 2016 exclusively on PlayStation 4.
