8 Big Questions Will Be Answered As 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Premieres In 3 Days

The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" film will premiere on December 18, which is three days from now. As the date gets closer, diehard fans continue to speculate about the twists of the story including Luke Skywalker's main role in the movie.

There aren't clear spoilers for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" available online, however, Telegraph.co.uk reported some speculative twists in the film's characters. These are stated in 8 different questions.

First question was "Where is Luke?" Luke Skywalker was never seen in the trailers nor any form of media releases not even in posters. Several theories were mentioned. According to Telegraph, he abandoned his Jedi goodness and had gone Sith. Another theory suggested that Luke exiled himself and was unable to manage his powers.

Second question was "Who's going to be the new Jedi?" Most of the fans are suspecting that what the trailers exposed -- the runaway stormtrooper Finn brandishing a lightsaber -- might be a red space herring. That theory was thought along with Daisy Ridley's role as the protagonist on the film. Chewie was also thought to be the new Jedi.

Third, "Will Yoda get a mention [from Maz]? Or even a cameo?" Another interesting part is that Lupita Nyong'o's character was never told nor exposed in trailers. Nyong'o played a 1,000-year-old alien orange space pirate named Maz Kanata.

J.J. Abrams shared a bit about this significant role. "I do believe that Maz and Yoda at one point had crossed paths...[in relation to actress Mindy Kaling] But that is not something, of course, due to the events of past films, that happens in this one."

Fourth, "Is a major character going to die?" There were rumors out wherein it stated that one of the major "Star Wars" characters will die in this film.

Fifth, "How is everyone related?" This is referring to new characters and their roles in the film which means that also includes their respective pasts.

One of the major theories revolve around Rey's role and his past. Fans theorized that he might have Luke Skywalker's blood or a daughter of Han Solo and Leia. Another theory also suggested that he might be the brother of Kylo Ren.

Sixth question is about BB-8's real role in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" based on his significance and gender. Telegraph mentioned that this cute little fella is actually a female and been on the Dark Side all along. She might have met Rey by chance, programmed by pilot Poe Dameron to befriend the orphan scavenger or entrusted by Luke Skywalker's missing lightsaber before meeting Han Solo.

Seventh, "What is Snoke up to?" According to trailer and media releases Andy Serki's Supreme Leader Snoke will be the key antagonist throughout the next "Star Wars" films. In general, the overall storyline involving this character remained secret. That makes it appealing to fans' levelling up theories.

Daniel Mindel, Force Awakens cinematographer explained creating Snoke using CGI. "Therefore, we have atmosphere. We have texture that we're putting [Snoke] into, that is physical. Sometimes, from the outside it would seem absurd to just walk in and look at how we do that."

"On the other hand, there's a great amount of method to it. In that particular theme, we had Andy Serkis interacting with Adam. Andy himself brought a massive amount to the scene."

Lastly, the eight question. "Will there be Ewoks?" Telegraph was certain about its non-existence in the film. However, this answer can't be finalized until "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premieres in cinemas.
