Former Patch Analyst Matthew "Cyborgmatt" Bailey Calls Leaked 'DOTA 2' Patch 6.86 Notes Fake!

While many "DOTA 2" fanatics hope for the leaked "DOTA 2" patch 6.86 notes to be true, former patch analyst now manager for Team Secret Matthew "Cyborgmatt" Bailey calls it fake.

In a previous report, the so called leaked patch 6.86 notes suggests that major changes will happen to the radiant jungle. Moreover, it also said that while there will be no additional heroes, but heroes the Oracle and Earth Spirit will be unlocked for Captain's mode gameplay. The leaked Patch 6.86 also addressed significant changes to Windranger, Tusk, Mirana and Crystal Maiden.

But the leaked patch notes may have revealed more than just changes to the radiant jungle and to the four above stated heroes. According to Segment Next, the massive change log is said include an increase in the sale value of cheese from 500 to 1000, Dust of Appearance to deal 25 magic damage, Roshan's respawn interval to increase from 8-11 minutes to 9-15 minutes in addition to what has been reported previously.

At this point, sources say that the leaked patch notes seem legit and there are no reports saying otherwise. However, Matthew "Cyborgmatt" Bailey is convinced that they are fake and merely "fan-made."

In a Twitter post, he has slammed one of the points of the said leaked patch notes saying, "Reddit pls. 'Firefly damage interval rescaled from 10/30/50/70 per 1 second to 7.5/15/22.5/30 per 0.5 seconds" It's already a 0.5 sec tick.'"

Bailey received a torrent of varied reaction from "DOTA 2 fans". One Twitter user has responded by saying, "@Cyborgmatt If those patch notes were fake then why was the post removed from Reddit. Reddit literally shut down for 5 minutes before that."

Like any other leaks, the circulating patch 6.86 notes must be treated with a grain of salt. Valve has yet to comment on this and so far has not given any statement.
