Contrary to earlier reports, Beyonce will not appear in "A Star is Born" and will not be making her comeback in the big screen alongside Bradley Cooper anytime soon.
Queen Bey was said to be cast in the upcoming remake movie together with Cooper, according to Page Six. However, recent reports claimed that the initial reports turned out to be a mistake.
During the Sunday premiere of his comedy-drama film, "Joy," Cooper clarified the Beyonce collaboration report.
"Just a rumor," he said during an interview with E! News. He maintained that he has not talked to Beyonce about the movie remake.
However, the "American Sniper" actor said he would be honored to work with Beyonce "in any capacity."
It can be recalled that a few years back, Cooper also denied reports of joining "A Star is Born" remake, saying it was "just a rumor."
When asked if he would be interested in doing the film, Cooper answered cautiously and said, "I mean, Clint Eastwood is one of the best directors alive." Eastwood had been initially reported to be helming the film remake.
At that time, Cooper believed the fourth "A Star is Born" film did not have a chance. "There are like three versions already," the actor said.
"A Star Is Born" was first created in 1937. In 1954, Judy Garland and James Mason starred in the movie remake. Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson made another remake in 1976.
Beyonce has not yet released any comments regarding the fourth remake. The Hollywood A-lister has been on movie hiatus since her last big screen performance in the thriller movie, "Obsessed" released in 2009.
In 2006, Beyonce was cast in "Dreamgirls," a drama musical film, co-starring Jamie Fox, Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Hudson.
