'Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages' Full-Length Feature Film Premiers on Cartoon Network; Is Volcanion Part of It?

Heads Up, Pokemon fans! The full-length feature film titled "Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages" will premiere on Cartoon Network on Dec. 19. The airing will start at 6:00p.m. (ET/PT).

Broadway Word reports that The Pokémon Company International has announced that "Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages," the newest movie series, is set to premiere on Cartoon Network.

The synopsis of "Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages" reads: "In a desert city by the sea, Ash, Pikachu, and their friends meet the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa, who has the ability to summon all sorts of things-including people and Pokémon-through its magic ring. After a strange and scary incident, they learn a story of long ago, when the rampage of a terrifying Pokémon was stopped by a brave hero. Now, the threat that has been bottled up for many years is in danger of breaking loose again! Can Ash help his new friend overcome the darkness within...or will a dangerous secret erupt into a clash of legends?"

Another good news that Anime News Network reports is that Hoopa fans could also view the Pokémon prequel, "Hoopa: the Mischief Pokémon" and "Hoopa's Surprise Ring Adventures," via the official portal of Pokémon or the Pokémon TV app.

ANN says that the movie "will air as part of a two-film special beginning at 3:30 p.m. EST." Zap2it, television guide website has listed the first film as "Pokémon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life."

If recalled, the said prequel had "premiered in Japan on July 18, and it was released on Canada via Teletoon on November 14. It is also noted that "Pokémon XY & Z" is also slated for release on July 16, 2016 in Japan.

Hardcore Gamer implies that this is not a coincidence that Dialga, Kyogre, Kyurem freezes Groudon and Mega Rayquaza would be appearing in the new full-length film. Report states that these legendary Pokémon characters have "some sort of relation to Volcanion."

Volcanion is the newest and the first-ever fire and water type of Pokemon. The official announcement has also come out at the same time "Pokemon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages" has been announced.
