Diane Kruger has become the woman of the hour following rumors that she is cheating on longtime beau, Joshua Jackson, with "Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus.
Amid the cheating rumors, a source said that Kruger and Jackson are still very much together, Entertainment Tonight reported. Most people would expect that by now, reports of the "Troy" actress and her 37-year-old boyfriend have rocked the Hollywood world but on the contrary, the source told ET that the two have not split up.
The said informant also shared that the 39-year-old actress and "Walking Dead" star were not hooking up. The two were just hanging out together.
Even Jackson's father, John Carter, came to the rescue of the German actress. According to Josh's dad, Diane was just having a blast at the bar and if his son were there, the "Dawson's Creek" star would be chuckling his heart out at the scene, Wet Paint noted.
"Josh has been raised in a really tough business and I think he's really a sweet kid and I think Diane is too. So you see, I'm not going to say anything about or my attitude towards the particular incident," Carter said further.
Reedus' rep was also quick to dismiss the make out rumors saying that nothing happened between his client and Kruger.
Amid the controversies, Jackson keeps himself busy working on a project in the Philippines, where he is documenting his stay through Instagram. "The Affair" actor and Kruger have been a couple since 2006.
Over the weekend, rumors regarding Diane and Norman's hook up hit Hollywood. Reports say that the two were seen at a New York City East Village bar being flirty with one another after some vodka and whiskey. Onlookers told that the "National Treasure" actress straddled Reedus and she appeared more aggressive than the46-year-old actor.
Representatives from Jackson and Kruger's camps are yet to make their statements on the issue.
