Canadians Are Now Looking Into Buying Eco-Friendly, Tiny Homes

Tiny homes is becoming the trend and some Canadians have expressed their interest in owning one.

Thelma Fayle is one of those Canadians who decided to swap her 4,000-square-fooot home for a house that measures only nine feet wide. According to her, she sold her property because she didn't really want to "spend the last third of my life rotely maintaining a huge house," Fayle said.

With her respiratory problems, maintaining a huge property can be very difficult, especially with her previous owned one that included a swimming pool and dozens of towering trees.

With her new "tiny" home, she is now able to spend more time reading, writing, and volunteering. She didn't' regret leaving her former home to free herself from a two-hour cleaning every day.

Others like Fayle also saw the need to own tiny homes to save time. These tiny homes are also eco-friendly. Tiny homes, according to Money Sense, allow the owners to use less power to heat. They're also are able to manage owning a house in spite the soaring home prices in the Canadian cities.

As of now, Canadians are still facing the dramatic home price hike. So, in general, they should start adapting to having a smaller home. At least, they can save a lot and it's more eco-friendly than owning any regular type of house.
