'Call of Duty Black Ops 3' Gets Better Black Market Access with Hotfix 43.2.17.5

"Call of Duty Black Ops 3" gets another hotfix after patch 1.04.

Patch 1.04 just went live this week and besides the necessary fixes and game improvements and the three new weapons, the said patch added the Quick Join option, making the game more enjoyable among friends. As previously report, the said patch also made changes to the Black Market like the new feature that quickly displays acquired items and the feature that allows players to easily pick out duplicate items and exchange them for Cryptokeys.

And such patch must have prepared "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" to the new hotfix that was deployed on Dec 17. Once again, Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar has announced via Twitter the arrival of hotfix 43.2.17.5, saying, "43.2.17.5. A lot going on here. Stay with me for a minute and I'll get out of the way again, then we can all go back to be Jedi Knights. +

"You can be killed by your own Scorestreaks (again). Hellstorm buff. Wraith defense buff. *Multiple* Medal/Challenges tracking fixes. +

"More minorly, Black Market fixes for looping sound, in-game store images/language fixes & the Brass Knuckles taunt gets it's missing FX."

According to Charlie Intel, which has an insightful report on the hotfix 43.2.17.5 for PS 4 and Xbox One, a new Game Setting has kick in, adding the ability to easily access the Black Market while in a pre-game lobby in multiplayer. The online site has noted, that this change was actually outlined in the patch notes of Update 1.04 but it was only through this hotfix that the change was made live. Moreover, it also said that "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" players can now obtain new Supply Drops in pre-game lobbies, as well.

Because it has been expected that the patch notes and this update might be confusing, the Charlie Intel quotes, "If Players are in the process of opening a Supply Drop as a match begins, the menu screen will close but content is still awarded. Players can view items earned through Supply Drops from the Recently Acquired menu option in the Black Market."

And as Tweeted by David Vonderhaar, the hotfix has buffed Hellstrom and Wraith Scorestreaks, players can be die by their own scorestreak and added special effects called "Brass Knuckles taunts." Meanwhile it has fixed issues where Medals/Challenges are not tracking certain progress, issues in the looping sounds in the Black Market and certain issues on in-game store images and language.
