A series of Tweets from David Vonderhaar, Studio Design Director at Treyarch, reveals that a "Call Of Duty Black Ops 3" Hotfix just got released ahead of an anticipated game update.
Based on VOnderhaar's tweets it appears that Black Ops 3 hotfix (37.25.35.4) introduces a lot tuning changes before CWL online qualifiers. He also mentioned lots of tuning edits for weapons but notes that the Weevil was not buffed. Vonderhaar has also announced, "Prevention from locking on as Streaks enter the play space" and that they have added ways to discourage people from collecting Cryptokeys while while remaining idle. One of Vonderhaar's tweets has also revealed that a major patch is underway and that he has the draft of the patch notes.
According to Design and Trend, the weapons given some tuning edits are as follows:
Kuda-Increased ability to control recoil.
VMP-Time increased when aiming down sights. Hip fire spread increased.
Weevil-Increased ability to control recoil.
Vesper-Reduced lethal range.
Razorback-Increased ability to control recoil, Increased lethal range.
KN-44-Increased ability to control recoil.
XR-2-Movement speed reduced.
HVK-30-Increased ability to control recoil.
ICR-1-Increased ability to control recoil. Hip fire spread reduced. Fixed an issue with the reload animation when a certain magazine was equipped.
Man-O-War-Increased ability to control recoil.
M8A7-Fire rate reduced.
KRM-262-Removed 3-hit kill. Now guaranteed at 2-hits.
205 Brecci-Increased lethal range.
Haymaker 12-Increased lethal range.
Dingo-Movement speed increased. Increased ability to control recoil.
48 Dredge- Fire rate reduced.Pistols
MR6-Movement speed increased.
RK5-Movement speed increased. Reduced lethal range.
L-CAR 9-Movement speed increased. Reduced damage. Reduced lethal range. Hip fire spread increased.
In the meantime, according to PlayStation Lifestyle, Treyarch has confirmed that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" double XP weekend has kicked in and it will run through December 13. While the company did not mention which platforms will get the event, it is expected that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" double XP weekend will apply to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as well as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. And one thing is sure, that this time the double XP applies to Multiplayer and Zombies
