With only two more weeks left before the release of the upcoming first-person shooter video game "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" from Treyarch, Activision has released the official game launch trailer.
The trailer, which is set to the song "Paint It Black" from Rolling Stones, features the shooter's campaign mode, multiplayer mode and zombie components. And there is more to this one-minute clip containing scenes from "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" gameplay. The trailer offers a peek at the character played by NFL Seattle Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch.
According to GameSpot, Marshawn Lynch role is a mercenary who most likely works for the antagonist played by "Law & Order" actor Christopher Meloni. Lynch is considered to be the first athlete whose voice and likeness have been brought to the shooter franchise. "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" has been known to feature famous actors like Kevin Spacey, Ed Harris, Brandon Routh, Michael Rooker, James Burns, Edward Norton, Ryan Gosling and Troy Baker among others.
The "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" game launch trailer also featured comments from notable sources. The video flashed a quote from Neilsen which wrote, "The most anticipated multiplatform Holiday Game." It also featured quotes from Polygon and PlayStation Lifestyle that wrote, "game-changing multiplayer" and "masters of zombie mode" respectively.
At the end of the trailer, there is a disclaimer that says, "The campaign mode depicted is not available on PS3 or Xbox 360". It was then followed by an announcement that pre-ordering the game entitles the player to the "Nuketown" bonus map on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" will be released for all platforms on November 6, 2015 but PS3 and Xbox 360 will only have multiplayer and zombies modes. Thus, the "ultimate 3-games-in-1" experience only applies to the latest consoles and PC.
