'Guitar Hero Live' Holiday-Themed GHTV Now Available; Update Gives Head-to-Head Competitive Mode!

Activision's "Guitar Hero Live" is the same with "Rock Band 4," debuted without online multi-gamer, although thanks to the new feature and update is now rolling out, in its own type of way.

Rival Challenges is the new feature which is accessible in the GHTV of the video game and lets gamers to fight each other to obtain highest score. The new features comes along with a twist, the developer Activision selects the battle and songs at some times.

Jamie Jackson, a developer from FreeStyle Games and Activision, this is how the mode runs:

- Rival Challenges could be unlocked in level 10 or higher. The developer opted on this because once gamers hit level 10, they will level up to Guitar Upgrades and acquire some Hero Powers which they think launches fun and great layers of competition.

- Rival Challenges will happen two times per every 30 minutes show. The song selections will be chosen by the gamers, so they should always be prepared.

- The competitor will be of comparatively close skill level, coupled with gamers through original matchmaking innovation.

- The winner of each competition gets 100 Status XP more, of course with proud rights.

- The items gathered in GHTV are another bonus to show off by the gamers. When a fight starts both gamers and opponent will view each other's note highway and playercard on screen.

With the current update released, Activision has also hinted that GHTV new holiday theme features their way of revealing when the games would be launched.

In November, 34 new songs to the on-demand services in "Guitar Hero Live's" on-demand service like the songs, "Knife Part," " Judas Priest," Rush," "Five Finger Death Punch," "Escape the Fate," "Kings of Leon," Black Veil Brides," "Atreyu," "Black Veil Brides" and others.
