Kody Brown's first wife Meri may end the year in even more controversy. Sam Cooper, the person claiming to be the one she had an affair with, has finished writing a tell-all book. On his blog Not Batman Yet, Cooper announced that the book is slated to be released by Christmas, and is currently available for pre-selling for $6.
Aptly titled "Almost Meri'ed," the book will be released online, and tells of the six-month affair he had with Meri.
"I think $1 a month for my story is fair. I think $6 is a good price for a first time author of a book that has almost 200 pages," Cooper wrote. He has asked those interested to buy to course payments through Paypal, and revealed that as of Thursday, Dec. 17, he has received over 2,000 orders already.
Fans of the Brown family will be mortified to know that Cooper has included photos, text messages, and other evidences of their affair. He also hinted of a "huge twist" at the end. Despite this, the 42-year-old "businessman" insists that the book is not a tell-all.
"I'm not interested in spilling deep dark secrets and I do know a few. This is a love story. It's my love story and my experiences. It is funny in some parts, it's very humbling. It's a great story," he continued. "I think a lot of people will be able to connect with it and maybe learn somethings they never thought about love."
Neither Kody, Meri, or any of the Sister Wives has commented on Cooper's book. On her Twitter account dated Dec. 17, Meri posted a quote saying, "Sometimes the best way to throw a punch is to take a step back."
As a shocking ending to "Sister Wives" Season 6, Meri admitted to having an online affair with Cooper, only to find out that he was a woman named Jackie Overton. She also insisted that their brief relationship was purely emotional, and claimed that she has never met the person.
Kody and his four wives will return to reality television, as "Sister Wives" Season 7 airs next year on TLC.
