Meek Mill is taking major financial hits from his travel restrictions ordered by his parole officer in Philadelphia. On the grounds of parole violation, Mill is prohibited from leaving Philadelphia. The rapper is faced with a serious dilemma because he has booked performances outside Pennsylvania even before the court has ordered his travel restrictions.
Mill has just been drafted as one of the cast on Overbrook Entertainment's "12 O'clock Boys", a production co-owned by Will Smith, but he will be scratched off of the list because the film will be shooting outside Philadelphia as well.
Nicki Minaj's boyfriend has been missing a lot of money-making performances and it seems it won't end soon enough. Mill is still scheduled to appear in court on February 2016.
Aside from missing the gig with Will Smith and a handful of out of the town performances, Mill will also be paying up for a house at Los Angeles that he and "Anaconda" girlfriend Nicki Minaj leased for their studio recording project. The house costs $15,000 a week.
The restriction does not only end Mill's travelling privileges. Mill is also prohibited to do any kind of work or performance before February where the court will be deciding his sentence for violating parole restrictions.
Another important gig that Mill will be missing is his New Year's Eve Performance with Nicki Minaj that they booked at Las Vegas. The tickets for the said Holiday performance of the rap couple has already been sold out. There will be disappointed fans but the situation is beyond the rapper's control. The performance would have earned him $140,000.
Even Minaj promised to keep her boyfriend straight and volunteered to help him in anyway in her statement at court but the judge remains firm to her ruling.
It seems that Mill was up for a very promising direction in his career but Pennsylvania court leaves no room for compromise. Mill has had multiple cases of parole violations in the past and it's haunting him in the worst time that he could possibly imagine.
