‘Aquaman’ Movie Updates: Film Screenplay Already on The Way

The screenplay for the movie of the much-anticipated DC Comics superhero "Aquaman" is already on its beginning stages and is pegged for a 2018 release. For the meantime though, "Aquaman" is set to appear in the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie, with a speculated significant influence that will most likely bring the seven superheroes of DC together.

Charles Roven revealed in a report from Crossmap that Aquaman's director, James Wan, already has a working document to begin production for the screenplay of the movie. Wan is also slated to direct the horror film "The Conjuring 2," making his hands full at present. Roven guarantees that despite Wan being busy with two films, he'll be doing his best in the "Aquaman" movie, as he is a serious fan of the superhero.

Meanwhile, Jason Momoa, "Game of Thrones" alum who was cast to be DC's "Aquaman," is currently busy with his upcoming Netflix TV show, "Frontier." He will be the lead star in the action-adventure drama that will feature the violent struggles in the late 18th century of North American fur traders. "Frontier" is scheduled to be packed with six powerful episodes for 2016.
