"The Good Wife" fans might probably be thinking whether one of the series' characters is gay.
Since the debut of "The Good Wife" season 7, there has been rumors as to whether Cary, played by Matt Czuchry, is gay. The speculations about his sexuality started when a scene between Dirk and Cary, played by Phillip Shinn, was aired.
Robert King, the executive producer of the series, revealed some information about the issue. He explained, "We liked how Cary was out of step in trying to get in touch with the newest generation coming into the law firm."
He denounced the speculations about Cary's sexuality by explaining the scene between Dirk and Cary was a simple misinterpretation. He further added, "He wanted to belong and he wanted them to feel like they belonged. And of course it's misinterpreted by the young associate as a come-on."
In the upcoming episodes, Cary's love life will not be the only focus. It was teased that the show will pursue to talk about the turn of the events during the midseason finale, which implied that Will Gardner, played by Josh Charles, had to express his love for Alicia played by actress Julianna Marguiles.
Sadly, Alicia was not able to get his warning because Eli (Alan Cummings) erased the messages from Gardner. He did this so that he could retain unity in the family, which will get Peter win the presidency.
"The Good Wife" upcoming episodes are also anticipated to feature how the family dynamics flow will evolve as they get ready for the elections. This will put much stress on Alicia as she also has her own reservations on the sidelines to support Peter's chosen path.
