Kate Middleton looked fabulous during the Diplomatic Reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth. But it was her tiara that stole the show as she arrived at the event.
Kate wore the late Princess Diana's love knot tiara during the event. The particular tiara was the wedding gift given by the Queen to Diana back in 1981 and it made Kate's whole ensemble perfect.
The tiara was made in 1914 for Queen Mary. It has pearls and diamonds love knots. The late Princess Diana though said it was heavy and it caused her headaches.
And now, there are new rumors circulating that Camilla Parker-Bowles is jealous that the Queen gave the tiara to the Duchess of Cambridge. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the Cambridge love knot tiara is owned by Queen Elizabeth and no one is allowed to wear without asking permission from her.
It's been awhile already since the public saw the Cambridge Love Knot tiara, not until Duchess Kate was photographed wearing it at the Queen's event. It has been reported that the decision of the Queen to let Kate wear the tiara made Camilla furious.
Camilla is well aware about the rich history of the love knot tiara and that it is one of the Queen's most prized possessions. And the mere fact that it was handed down to Kate was reportedly hard for Camilla to accept.
And because of the royal rejection that Camilla felt, her drinking is said to have gone out of control. The staff at the Clarence House where Prince Charles and Camilla live has reportedly complained that Camilla's drinking problem already reached the Queen.
The GLOBE even reported that the Queen referred the Duchess of Cornwall as a "deadly cancer to the Royal Family." Reports say that even the monarch made a comment regarding Camilla's actions and told Prince Charles that he has no control of his wife. And given the whole situation, the Queen allegedly told Prince Charles that the Royal family's future is in the hands of Prince William and Princess Kate.
