"Outlander" Season 2 will be taking on a more political storyline, as Jamie and Claire head to Paris to stop the Jacobite Rising and change the course of events. However, having a political storyline does not mean that fans of the Starz time traveler series will see less romance between their favorite couple. Jamie and Claire's relationship will continue to be tested in the upcoming season. Will their relationship strengthen or will they fall apart?

Warning: Spoilers ahead! Read on if you want to learn more about the details of this story.

"Outlander" has just released another teaser photo for Season 2 and it showed fan-favorite couple, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) pulled together in an embrace, Carter Matt reported.

"Can their bond hold strong in France? #OutlanderOfferings," the show's official Twitter account captioned the photo.

As most fans and viewers know, "Outlander" Season 2 will be based on Diana Gabaldon's second book titled, "Dragonfly in Amber," and will feature a continuation of events from Season 1. Claire and Jamie's relationship will be tested, as the couple will have quite a lot of things to deal with in the upcoming season.

In the season finale of "Outlander," Claire revealed that she is pregnant while Jamie went through such a traumatic experience under the hands of Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) in Wentworth Prison. Claire and Jamie will have to adjust to the roles of being parents, as Jamie will also have to battle with his traumatic past and move forward.

Meanwhile, Crossmap reported that Heughan recently teased his fans about a hotter episode ahead. The Scottish actor announced that the cast and crew are done filming for 2015 and seemingly hinted that fans and viewers should brace themselves for a hot episode ahead in a series of emojis.

"Outlander" Season 2 premieres sometime in spring of 2016 on Starz.
