A few of the intriguing questions from fans and supporters of the fictional series were finally answered after the production officially announced details about the casting of the "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" play. MTV reports that on Sunday night, the main cast of the "Harry Potter" play was finally revealed. Jamie Parker, Paul Thornley and Noma Dumezweni will star in the upcoming West End play as Harry, Ron and Hermione, respectively.
It was earlier speculated, and hoped, that the original cast would reprise their roles, this time live in theaters. However, it was a long shot since the original main cast members have been busy with their different acting projects.
Meanwhile, Jamie Parker, who'll play Harry, has a wizardly experience prior to the upcoming play. He played a role in "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell" earlier this 2015.
Noma Dumezweni's casting as Hermione brought hype online but J.K. Rowling immediately shared her positive thoughts of having a dark-skinned Hermione for the play.
Several characters have not yet been cast yet for the play including Albus Severus Potter, Harry's son, who will play as an adolescent with teen problems, a very significant role in the "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" play.
