Fallout 4 Mods: Modder Adds 'Star Wars' Light Sabers

It seems that the Force has also awaken in "Fallout 4" as modders have added light sabers in the open world role playing game.

According to Kotaku, "Fallout 4" modder and a likely "Star Wars" fan Invalidfate has just made available his creation called "Light Saber Renew" via NexusMods. As written in the description, "This mod includes 4 lightsabers with different color to the game, with unique weapon equip animation and a light source similar to shishkebab one." The uploader has also included a step-by-step tutorial on how to download and install the mod along with demo video that you can watch below. Moreover, another "Star Wars-themed" mod, The Darth Vader Helmet, was uploaded by the same user.

Hopefully, the addition of "Star Wars" elements would not make the game even more addictive than it already is to most "Fallout 4" fans. In another news, Bethesda is currently under hot water as recently there has been a report saying that a man has sued the company over his "Fallout 4" addiction that cost him his health, job and his wife. According to Mirror UK, a Russian man is seeking 500,000 Rubles (about $7,000) compensation from Bethesda following the loss of his job and wife due to "Fallout 4" addiction.

He is actually suing Bethesda for failing to warn gamers that the game could be addictive. After downloading the game after seeing it in an ad, he began to play almost non-stop that he ended up skipping work until he was eventually fired. This is not the first time someone has sued a game developer over video game addiction. In 2010, a man from Hawaii has also taken his "game addiction" case to court against video game "Lineage 2."

Though it may seem that it is still a matter of self-control, it is safer for developers to add a note that the game could be highly addictive. What do you think will "Star Wars" light sabers bring to the video game?
