Individuals that are also interested in trying out iOS 9.2.1 can still sign up for the program to download the public beta version, Apple Insider reported.
Apple did not provide any time frame with regards to the public release of the iOS 9.2.1. It does not contain any change log for reference and will likely be available when it is officially released. Normally, updates similar to this contains minor bug fixes and additional security updates.
Users who opted to install iOS 9.2.1 public beta update will also be unable to rollback their iPhones to its previous iOS version. This means that users need to wait for the official release of iOS 9.2.1 in order to get the bugs out of their iPhones. The iOS 9.2.1 is tagged as build number 13D11. The iOS 9.2 is build number 13C75 and have included 3D Touch support for iBooks, Arabic Siri, improved Apple Music support for Classical music and of course, the Lightning to SD Card reader functionality, 9To5Mac reported.
iOS 9.2.1's Lightning to SD Card reader functionality will let its iPhone users transfer images directly from a digital camera or a micro SD card to the their phones. Previously, a computer with iTunes is needed to do this simple task.
