Agent Carter Season 2 Spoilers: Lyndsy Fonseca In A DWTS Crossover?

Recurring cast member Lyndsy Fonseca will return in "Agent Carter" Season 2 in a DWTS-inspired crossover episode.

Entertainment Weekly exclusively said that Fonseca will reprise her role as Angie Martinell, a close friend of the series' protagonist, Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell).

The actress previously appeared in six "Agent Carter" episodes. Her character became Peggy's confidante after the latter saved the other from being harassed by a diner customer. Their relationship deepened when they became roommates at the Griffith Hotel and in Howard Stark's residences.

Fonseca previously shared that she didn't know if Angie's story will be part of Season 2 as she said on her tweet. So, it wasn't a surprise that her reappearance will have its unique twist.

"I have the best #AgentCarter fans #Cartinelli forever! Your support is amazing but I still have no word about Angie in this season :(" Fonseca posted on Twitter.

The outlet reported that Fonseca's comeback will involve in a "dream-like sequence." "Agent Carter" EP Michele Fazekas confirmed that they will welcome Fonseca with "an epic song and dance number." She noted Angie to become Peggie's very own Jiminy Cricket, who will appear in her conscience.

"It ties things back together from the first season and it’s connecting all of these things in a way that only a dream can do,” Fazekas said.

Fonseca's Angie character is slated to appear in Episode 9. It will be featured in a black-and-white scenery with a Rita Hayworth-looking Peggy Carter. The episode will pick up after Peggy and Jarvis (James D' Arcy) got knocked out in a cliffhanger-filled Episode 8.

As stated earlier, Episode 9 will showcase an "epic song and dance number" which was composed by Christopher Lennertz from the lyrics from David Zippel alongside executive producers Tara Butters and Fazekas.

So, how can "Agent Carter" crossover with the reality competition, "Dancing With The Stars"? Well, "DWTS" pro Louis van Amstel will provide the choreography and his fellow personalities from the reality series will perform in the episode as well. The other dancers include Dmitry Chaplin, Karina Smirnoff, Anna Trebunskaya, Sasha Farber and Damian Whitewood.
