Anna Duggar vows to stay by her husband Josh Duggar amidst the sex scandal.
Before Anna Duggar, wife of disgraced reality TV star Josh Duggar, appeared on the three-part TLC special "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," many have urged Anna to leave her cheating husband. With the public convinced that she was contemplating divorce, there have been reports suggesting that she has rejected Josh's apology and her appearance on the TLC show was for financial reasons.
But despite the porn addiction, the Ashley Madison cheating scandal, the child molestation accusation and sexual assault claimed by a porn star, Anna Duggar has decided not to leave Josh Duggar. According to Hollywood Life, an insider has revealed that Anna has chosen to forgive him and not push through with the divorce.
The source told the publication exclusively, "Anna wants to keep her family together and has decided to stay with Josh and make their marriage work. She told Josh that she forgives him and believes in him. This is a huge deal, because she was seriously about to pull the plug on the relationship. Needless to say, Josh is beyond elated with the news. He vowed to help Anna rebuild her trust in him."
Anna herself has publicly announced her intentions to keep the marriage intact, according to Inquistr. In a previous clip for the Dec. 27, episode of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" a teary-eyed Anna said, "For my heart it was like, 'How could this happen in our marriage?' Josh was my first love, he's my one and only."
Then continued, "But I knew that my only hope was to cling to my faith because I knew if I went off of what I was feeling, I would turn a mess into a disaster. And so I think in the stun and the shock of everything, I was just praying, 'God help me to know how to respond to all of this.' I didn't know what to do, I knew we needed help and I was just praying that God would give the help and the wisdom that we needed to know how to take the next step."
And speaking of the divorce rumors, Anna has a message to her supporters according to Fox News. "I know that there are those who feel I have every right to walk away from this marriage and I respect other people's views but in my heart, when I got married, I vowed to God first and then to Joshua, 'for better or worse, 'til death do we part.'"
It is not easy for Anna or any other wife in the same situation. However, at the end of the day it is still her decision and she has decided against divorce and save her marriage and her family.
