'Pokken Tournament' Update: Wii U Controller Released Outside Japan?

Destructoid brings good news as the "Pokken Tournament" Wii U controller will be available in the West.

The "Pokken Tournament" Wii U bundle will come with the controller which now could be separately purchased in Japan. It is yet to be confirmed whether or not the Wii U bundle will be available to other countries outside of it. The game is available in Japanese arcades since July, but it has already become very popular with gamers and "Pokemon" enthusiasts alike.

Amazon has put on a post that "Pokken Tournament" Wii U controller is already available in their online store with a wonderful tag price of $25, Hardcore Gamer reported. The new controller brings Wii U fans and owners comfort in their gaming experience.

Amazon has already released on their site the image of the control and gave a tag price for the game which will be released on March 2016, IGN reported. The customized official Wii U controller is also now available for pre-ordering.

Produced by Hori, the Wii U controller is now officially licensed by both Nintendo and Pokemon, based on reports by sources. With the increasing demand for the controller, various game sites have warned both "Pokemon fans" and Wii U users to be vigilant about the controller's imitations since there has been a vast number of imitators in the market presently.

Despite its wonderful design, it has been reported that the controller will only fully function in the "Pokken Tournament" game. Amazon even wrote on their page's description that the controller's features can either be functional with limited functions or non functional at all to any other Wii U games at moment.

Upon pre-ordering on Amazon or purchasing on the release date, the "Pokken Tournament" Wii U controller will come with an unlock card for Shadow Mewtwo.
