‘Black Panther’ Marvel Movie Updates: Iconic Character Still Lacks Publicity?

Marvel fans are all aware that "Black Panther" will hit the big screens by 2018. However, even with Chadwick Boseman's latest appearance in the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer, the superhero still lacks the luster that the other heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has.

Comic Book Resources features an image of Boseman in full "Black Panther" gear squeezed in between unmasked Captain America and Iron Man in this week's cover of the EW magazine. "Black Panther" was also featured in the latest trailer released for the upcoming film "Captain America: Civil War." However, with the exposure "Black Panther" is getting from YouTube and now in magazines, the "Black Panther" remains to be one of the less popular characters in the MCU.

Fans and comic book enthusiasts are looking forward to see "Black Panther" as a regal American Black Man who is an intellectual and wealth ruler in the land where the Vibranium was discovered. Fans believe that it is the film's responsibility to stick with who "Black Panther" is to be able to introduce his character, by the book, to millions of potential viewers in the MCU.

Meanwhile a director might actually be on the way for the "Black Panther" movie. Ryan Coogler, who was the genius behind the movie "Creed", a "Rocky" sequel is being eyed to be the director of the upcoming 2018 Marvel movie.

According to an article from MTV, Crooger is already in negotiations to direct the Marvel film which will feature "Black Panther" the first even black superhero to film for the big screens. It stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa, the "Black Panther" who is also Chief and ruler of Wakanda and a future member of The Avengers.

The "Black Panther" movie is still due by 2018 but controversies on whether the character will be as stellar as the rest of the heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are already present. However, Ryan Crooger's brilliance as the potential director of the scene is expected to bring the "Black Panther" to the box-office.
