Pharma Company That Fired Martin Shkreli Gets Delisted by Nasdaq; Pharma Bro's Twitter Got Hacked

His Dec. 19 post on his twitter account was "I am confident I will prevail. The allegations against me are baseless and without merit." The former Turing CEO who got arrested for fraud seems to be hopeful as he feels that he can still be freed from all his charges. He was out on a bail for $5m after he was arrested last week in his apartment.

Apparently though, Martin Shkreli's twitter account was hacked, in Dec. 21, 2015, "I was hacked--I now have control of this account." He was glad to be home after being released from jail, he even thanked his supporters online.

Martin Shkreli is popular to have been gouging life saving drugs, raising its price hike to a level of greed. This turned him into a man hated by the nation. This activity tough, was unrelated to the issue of him being investigated and later arrested for fraud because of the quasi-ponzi scheme he was known to have been running on his first pharmaceutical business Retrophin.

As news has reported, Shkreli was fired from KaloBios, another pharmaceutical company he was a CEO of. In other news, it was said the he resigned instead of being fired. Shkreli reportedly paid $2.7 million, for 50% of his stakes in the company during the time they were facing liquidation.

However, after Shkreli's arrest and his resign from KaloBios, the company's stock was suspended for trading. Soon enough it was reported to be delisted from Nasdaq. The reason was that the company failed to file a third quarter earnings report for the year 2015.

In an SEC filing on Wednesday, KaloBios announced that it's outside accounting firm and its interim chief financial officer both resigned as of Monday. KaloBios is set to be delisted from Nasdaq on Dec. 30, 2015.
