Oculus Rift will soon be available in the market. If the first quarter release date is true, it will be the very first consumer virtual reality head-mounted display headset.
For many reasons, it seems like the Rift headset SKU, which comes with the Xbox One and Oculus Touch controllers, will be priced at around $999. According to Hexa News, Palmer Luckey, the Oculus VR Founder, stated that the price is just right because the device is really good.
Currently, the Rift will justify its very high price with its impressive quality. Alphabet has done a pretty good job when it comes to the application of low-cost technology. It will provide the users with a mere taste of real VR capabilities. The year 2016 is just around the corner and it seems like it will be a big one for virtual reality.
The Oculus Rift is also expected to get the ball rolling in a snap. The revolutionary headset boasts a full high definition 1080 x 1200 resolution for both eyes with a refresh rate of 90Hz, not to mention its very broad field of view.
Furthermore, the most-awaited gadget will come with two headphones that have 3D sound effect feature to give you a more incredible overall VR experience. It will be a unique simulation since both sensors and screens of smartphone do not have VR optimization capabilities, which is observed when you insert smartphone in Google Cardholder.
According to Luckey via his Twitter account, the soon-to-be-released VR headset might be available for pre-orders. He also said the price of the upcoming headset will eventually cut down subsequent to technical enhancements and scaling up operations.
Therefore, it is up for the fans to make the decision as to whether they will pre-order the device or not.
Oculus Rift if pre-ordered will also come with a copy of "EVE Valkyrie," wrote IGN.
