The online series of TLC's social experiment, "Married by Mom & Dad: CoCo's Story," returns with an all-new third episode where CoCo's parents became busy reviewing the videos of the suitors potential husband for their daughter. Did they find the right man?
Courtney Quinn, 36, is pretty much ready to get married and settle down. But feeling like she's been single her whole life, and because she trusts her parents, she's letting them choose the spouse for her.
Last week, Courtney, showed her parents, Mary and Tim, quite a long list of things she wants for a husband. She defended though that they are not really specifics, but just some general qualities she is looking for. For instance, she wants someone who is generally a happy man and established.
When their daughter asked them to pick a husband for her, Tim said, "It was a combination of 'This is crazy' but it's also kind of an amazing opportunity."
This week, the videos of CoCo's suitors are in and Mary and Tim spent countless hours going over them. The first one shown in the clip was Barry Funkhouser, a 34-year-old producer for a talk radio. He seems to be a funny guy and could definitely make CoCo laugh. But Mary thinks he moves a lot, physically.
Next is 30-year-old Clark Brooks, a business owner. He wants a quality woman he can commit to. He talks about stability, which is a plus point for Mary and Tim. "He has a niceness about his face," Mary adds. "You have to have an initial attraction to someone."
The third one is James Griffey, 32, a director for expansion of a financial firm. He seems nice and has a good job. He's interested in artistic stuff like Courtney is. "He's the man that I feel that if we meet him and we like him, we will feel proud to have him on the other end of the altar, waiting to watch [CoCo] walk down," Mary says.
"I really want to do the next step and meet them," says Tim.
