‘Captain America 3’; ‘Spiderman,’ New Costume Revealed By Director

The anticipated upcoming Marvel film "Captain America: Civil War" is believed to be one of the most ambitious films yet as Marvel brings its iconic MCU heroes to battle against each other. To get things more exciting, Spiderman will be included to the film's list of heroes after having Marvel and Sony sign an agreement for his appearance rights.

Sony lending Spiderman to Marvel is not without purpose. Since "The Amazing Spiderman 2" did not go as amazing as expected, Sony has been planning on expanding its films through different spin-offs. Now Marvel carries the burden of bringing a more amazing Spiderman than before.

In an interview with Comic Book Movie, Joe and Anthony Russo directors of "Captain America: Civil War" mentioned Spiderman has this old tone in its storytelling and that they wanted their new Spiderman to be different. They want a more contemporary hero as though his relationship with Aunt May and their live-in Queens were based on the present day.

It is not only Spiderman who will be getting a whole new treatment but the main character himsel. The directors mentioned that the first avenger will be given a new suite with different innovations and a tonal look which is said to fit right in the upcoming film. Despite the change in costume, Captain America is still Captain America and that only the film will answer all the rumors about it.

"Captain America: Civil War" will be starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Frank Grillo, Tom Holland, William Hurt, and Daniel Brühl. It will be directed by the Russo brothers Anthony and Joe and will be produced by Kevin Feige.

"Captain America: Civil War" will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
