A concept art about the team members of "X-Force" has been published. Many believe that the characters in the said artwork are already the line-up for the upcoming film of Marvel Comics' team of heroes.
Comic Book reports that 20th Century Fox hired writer and director of Kick-Ass 2, Jeff Wadlow, to work on the script on an "X-Force" movie. There is a great possibility that he would also direct the movie. This transpired in the third quarter of 2013 and since then he was very vocal about having a team lineup of five members. He adds that he was an avid follower of Wolverine, Cable, Colossus, Domino, Psylocke and Deadpool. However, Wadlow didn't say exactly which characters he would be placing in his team.
But then a recent artwork made by Gregory Semkow showed the "X-Force" team character lineup based on the script. The artwork featured Domino, Warpath, Cable, Cannonball and an unidentifiable female character with a hood. Speculations are it could be Rogue because of the gray/silver streak on her hair. But without the gloves it seemed unlikely. Another assumption is that it could be a subtle version of Psylocke. Amidst all the speculation on the mysterious character, Semkow confirms that the mysterious character is Feral.
With the longevity of the time elapsed, Rob Liefeld, creator of "X-Force" was really impressed with the script made by Wadlow. Rob says that the script showed camaraderie between team members as they learn to trust and cope with each other. Liefeld also adds that Deadpool is definitely part of the team, although he wasn't shown in the aforementioned artwork.
Bleeding Cool reveals that the concept art done by Gregory Wadlow on "X-Force" was worked on closely together with Jeff Wadlow. Since it was mentioned that the characters on the artwork was based on the film script it is presumed that these are the same heroes that will be appearing on the Marvel Comics' movie. Noticeably Cables' character appearance as part of the team may seem a bit out of the ordinary for a lot of fans.
With the "X-Force" movie still having no official release date and in its early stages of scriptwriting, moviegoers and fans alike can't bank on the artwork alone. Changes of team members can still happen in the process. Regardless, the choice of actors that will be playing the roles of the heroes in the film will should be grab a lot of attention.
