In less than 2 months, "Deadpool" will be hitting the big screen. The recent release of the trailer has made fans craving for more spoilers of the film and learning more about Wade Wilson, including the other characters of the movie. In addition, fans are wondering how much different is the film from the comic book, and if it also relates one way or another with "X-men" stories.
Comic Book reports that the recent release of the second trailer for "Deadpool" movie shows a certain character that resembles an X-Men character, Marrow. Her mutant powers is that of growing her bones at an excessive rate which she then breaks off to use to stab or throw at people. Marrow's comic book history includes a run-in with Weapon-X and as a most recent member of the X-Force which will most likely tie her up with Deadpool's movie. Deadpool is a result of Weapon-X's experimentation and he also was an on and off member of the X-Force.
USA Today says that "Deadpool" movie will be shown on February 12, 2016. 20th Century Fox shows fans and moviegoers two versions ("Green Band" and "Red Band") of the "12 Days of Deadpool" trailer. Both trailers have the similar content but the only difference is the Red Band version is R-rated. The hype was obvious with the Deadpool Comic-Con panel standing out amidst the other promotions of movies. Not to mention the repeat viewing of the early trailer due to fans' demands.
Movie Pilot gives a brief explanation on the comic version versus the movie version trailerwise for "Deadpool." There was a trailer that was similar to the comic version of Deadpool rising from a huge pile of rubble. The comic version is like the scene of "X-Men: Origins" where Deadpool clashed with Wolverine and Sabretooth atop a cooling tower where the "Merc with a mouth" ends up severing his head and eventually being defeated.
Another comic version that may be related to the trailer version is "Deadpool's" attempt to annihilate Weapon-X leaving a wake of destruction. It is a comic fact that the leader of Weapon-X, Dr. Killebrew was hunting Wade Wilson down in order to execute him. This was because Wade killed Slayback who happened to be his teammate and his escaping from Weapon-X and falling in love with Death.
Fans are rather infuriated that the "Deadpool" movie will be a continuation of the of the comic version. There are a lot of possible outcomes for the movie and there may be bits and pieces of the movie being connected to "X-Men: Origins." Overall, there is a greater possibility that it will have its own storyline.
