Fans can expect a bit of "Teen Wolf" drama at the very start of the year as "Teen Wolf" Season 5 premiers this Jan. 1, 2016 on MTV.
According to Variety report, they will air a marathon of its video clip starting with the first 6 minutes at midnight, New Year's Day. A brand new teaser will be viewed by the public for its mid-season premiere. The marathon of teasers will show "Ridiculousness" on Dec. 31 until midnight. After episode 11, it will be followed by the episode titled "The Last Cinema" and more video clips will be shown until 7 a.m.
However, MTV describes the preview as lackluster. The network said that the official trailer of "Teen Wolf" Season 5B is quite boring. Fortunately, Jeff Davis, the show runner revealed what the first scene of the Season 5B would be like. Fans should expect to see Lydia played by Holland Roden investigating the past of Theo played by Cody Christian.
"You see the very first image [of the premiere in the trailer]. It's Lydia in the water approaching that bridge where Theo killed his sister. That's one of the mysteries - Why did Theo kill his sister? - that we deal with right at the beginning of 5B. It's a fun story," Davis narrates to International Business Times.
Davis is quoted in Movie Pilot saying that in Season 5, Kira played by Arden Cho and her mom, Noshiko played by Tamlyn Tomita, will encounter a crowd of skin walkers in New Mexico face to face.
Jennifer Lynch, frequent director of "Teen Wolf," will also make a comeback to direct the episode.
Davis said, "She's back for episode 513 and we're very happy to have her."
"Teen Wolf" Season 5 is set to debut on MTV on Jan. 5, 2016 at 9 p.m.
