Mena Suvari Plans To Dump Friends Who Don't Benefit Her In 2016 To Start Anew

Mena Suvari planned to start anew and fresh in 2016 and she said she'll start by dumping friends who have not been that good of an influence to her. According to news, she already did on some of them as part of her "spiritual weeding."

As she says goodbye to her 2015, she wanted to start her new life with new and freshly weeded "spiritual garden" by dumping unnecessary people.

Independent stated that Suvari shared that after doing this activity, she felt rewarded and she wanted to do that on Thursday.

"My boyfriend and I decided to kind of do a bit more of a spiritual experience and we chose to write down all the things that we didn't want in our lives anymore and then we did this little ceremony where we burned them in a pot," she said.

She added, "It's just the process of kind of, other than just thinking, either vocalizing or putting it out there in a different form. There was a thing that I went through years ago ... and it was all about questioning the people that I had in my life and, 'Were they a good influence on me?' Did they love me unconditionally?' 'Did they encourage me to live to my utmost potential?' 'If they didn't, I made changes."

This year, she has kept herself busy with charities like the Starlight Children's Foundation and Circle of Friends which support the young people and kids. She also became active fighting for female empowerment.

Through doing these selfless activities for the humanity, she felt much more blessed with whatever she has right now. "I've been really blessed with what's been given to me and so I look at is as, whatever I can do to influence someone else's life, and make things better, then I should do that.

"I've been given so much so I like to give back, for whatever its worth. Things are going in a fantastic direction. I feel really blessed," Mena Suvari said.
