It might be a struggle for "Game of Thrones" fans to wait for the next season's premiere especially with these six wild theories that have almost nothing to do with Jon Snow but might take place in "Game of Thrones" Season 6.
While the buzz about Jon Snow's (Kit Harrington) is still as loud as ever, especially about his death and the real identity of his mother and even his father. Now, Bustle gives even more mysterious loose ends that need to be given fair share of fans' wild speculations.
Here are six outrageous theories for "Game of Thrones" Season 6 fans might want to read that doesn't involve the bastard's son.
First, Robb Stark (Richard Madden) didn't die. The site explained that there could be a possible Robb-Grey Wind-his direwolf-warged happened, though his dog also ends up dead during the Red Wedding. But the hope of Robb warged into Grey Wind and into another animal is in each fans' hearts.
Second, Jaqen H'ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) is Syrio Forel (Miltos Yerolemou). Fans might be wondering, how on earth does this even connect? So, the site explained Jaqen was last seen in season 3 and sort of returned in season 5 and told Arya Stark (Maissie Williams) that he is "no one." To connect Arya's instructor in sword-fight from season 1, Syrio is from Braavos. Both men believed in the God of Death at the House Of Black And White. During the battle against the Lannister guards, he was supposedly killed by Ser Meryn Trant. Note that his death isn't seen on-screen, which leads to the question: did he come back to provide Arya more guidance as Jaqen in season 3?
Third, Hodor "IS" the Great Other. So, Hodor (Kristian Nairn) comes back in season 6 together with Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and the Three-Eyed Raven. It is surely known that Walder is Hodor's real name, but a theory laid out on Reddit explained why "Hodor" has been the only word he speaks. "Hodor" is said to be referred to "The Great Other." The Great Other is what the Red Priests of Light acknowledges as the contrast of the Lord of Light -- he is the Lord of dark, cold and winter; no one should say his name. This leads to the speculations that it's either Hodor "is" the Great Other or he faced The Great Other back when he was still a child traumatizing him making him utter the name.
Fourth, A + J = T. This theory suggests that Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) is not Tywin Lannister's (Charles Dance) boy but rather the Mad King Aerys II Targaryen's son. Like most men in Westeros, the Mad King has been known to be unfaithful to his wife and bedded Joanna Lannister-Tywin's wife which leads to Tyrion's birth. This idea was also discussed by Zap2it.
Fifth, Jon Snow has a twin. Rumors about Jon not being the only child of a Targaryen and a Stark not the only child of Prince Rhaegar and Lyanna. He might have a twin sister and that would be Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick).
Not much evidence about this but remembering Ned rescuing his sister accompanied by Howland Reed? This led to the theory that Ned took Jon while Reed was the one who took Meera back to Greywater Watch. Also note that Meera and Jojen (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) lead Bran to the Three-Eyed Raven.
Lastly, Ned Stark is alive. This may be impossible and believing it would probably lead fans into another hopeless heartbreak but it could be possible that Ned (Sean Bean) was not the one who got beheaded in season 1.
The evidence of this theory was on the book telling that Ned's execution was in an Arya chapter, telling that Arya barely recognize him. Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) also exclaimed that his head looks unfamiliar on the stake. Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) also described his bones looked like it came from a smaller man.
As long as "Game of Thrones" Season 6 premiere on April is still far ahead, theories like this makes fans all the more anticipate and build their excitement when the show returns.
