Nintendo 2015 Most Favorite Games: ‘Splatoon’ No. 1 On Wii U; ‘The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask’ Tops 3DS According To Miiverse Users

Nintendo's top 2015 Wii U game is "Splatoon." This is according to the Miiverse users, who were asked to vote on a Miiverse platform which allowed them to choose their preferred games for 3DS and Wii U consoles.

Constantly, Nintendo is refreshing "Splatoon," releasing a couple of new maps and even organizing regular events. The game earned the highest spot due to its latest versions on the online shooting style which according to the fans is proof of the game's proficiency. "Splatoon" was also given a rating of 8.6 by IGN for the same reason.

Nintendo's latest version on the ionic platform game "Super Mario Maker" was chosen by the fans for the second spot, followed by "Xenoblade Chronicles X" on the third. The two games were also given high ratings at IGN; 8.2 for "Xenoblade Chronicles X" and 9.0 for the "Super Mario Maker."

On the other news, the new Mario Kart 5 and Splatoon bundles launched in Japan supported and boost sales of the Wii U by over 50%. In the previous week, "Splatoon" was the fourth best-selling game in Japan, going over 80,000 units, overtaking "Super Mario Maker."

As for the 3DS, fans chose "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" for the highest spot. After fifteen years since its first release, the game is now the reimagining of a fan's old favorite, earning a high rating of 8.7 at IGN which proves that a powerful world-building, attractive game design will never grow old.

Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes" was chosen for the second spot in the most popular game on 3DS based on Miiverse while on the third rank is the "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate." The fans seem to like the idea that the two games have the multiplayer modes, Gamezone reported.
