Carrie Fisher Net Worth: "Star Wars" Actress Slams Internet Body Shamers on Twitter

Their jobs do require them to always look their best or at least that is how people view Hollywood life but Carrie Fisher did not back down from her bashers and trolls regarding her looks.

On Dec 29, 2015 Fisher took the issue to her twitter account saying:

"Please stop debating about whether or not I aged well, unfortunately it hurts all three of my feelings. My body hasn't aged as well as I have, Blow us."

Carrie Fishers career has once again been back to the spotlight because of the new "Star Wars" installment.

When she was interviewed in in Good Housekeeping magazine that she said that she needed to drop 35 pounds so she could once again play Leia in the new Star Wars film. She is 59 years old and it was during the "Star Wars" press tour where her appearance was being laughed at and defended.

She said to them, "They don't want to hire all of me - only about three-quarters!" ... Nothing changes, it's an appearance-driven thing. I'm in a business where the only thing that matters is weight and appearance. That is so messed up. They might as well say get younger, because that's how easy it is."

Carrie Fisher has observed how much people in Tinsletown are so obsessed with the looks as she has lived most of her life in Hollywood and it drives other celebrities crazy.

People in Hollywood treat beauty like an accomplishment. To Fisher, that is insane. It is annoying she said when, "Everyone in L.A. says, 'Oh you look good,' and you listen for them to say, 'You've lost weight.' It's never 'How are you?' or 'You seem happy!'"

Seriously people need to stop bashing and poking fun at celebrities. There are actors that play roles because they have the talent, no matter what they look.

Carrie Firsher has a net worth of $5 million.
