"Days of Our Lives" spoilers for the coming year of 2016 indicate that fans of the NBC soap opera will have to say goodbye to Daniel, as his character will end up getting killed in a tragic car accident. Is it really the end for Dr. Dan?

"Days" spoilers detail that the upcoming episodes for the week of Jan 4, 2016 will be full of tragedy and sacrifices, She Knows Soaps reported. According to the publication, after a major collision took place in Salem on New Year's Eve, at least four Salemites will find themselves on the brink of death - Daniel, Jennifer, Brady, and Eric.
While all four of them will have their lives hanging on the line following this major accident, the outlet revealed that Dr. Dan will not survive. A sacrifice will also be made, as Brady seems to be in need of a transplant, and John will immediately offer to go under the knife to save Brady.
DOOL spoilers from the outlet also reveal that Salemites, especially Nicole, will be saying their last farewell to Dr. Dan on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Several DOOL rumors hint on the possibility that John may no longer need to undergo transplant, as Maggie may allow the doctors to perform the transplant between Daniel and Brady.
Other DOOL spoilers from Days Café also hint that Melanie and Parker will be returning to Salem in order to commemorate Dan's death. The outlet further noted that someone else will be filling in for the role of Parker, so fans should expect to see him looking different.
Meanwhile, the outlet further teased fans that Abigail will convince Chad that he is the father of Thomas, which will trigger certain memories. Chad will eventually recall everything that happened prior to the incident and some DOOL rumors claim that a proposal is expected to take place between this couple soon.
