Samsung's Secretive Creative Labs Unveils New Experimental Projects

Samsung's secretive Creative Labs (C-Labs) unveiled images and some details about three new experimental wearable prototypes for the CES tech expo in Las Vegas, report says.

Samsung revealed that during the upcoming CES tech expo this coming January 6-9, 2016 they will be featuring three of their latest technological experiments which they think would be beneficial to the consumers.

Samsung is open to share these new gadgets to the public to identify the overall assessment of the product in terms of the market potential for the whole year. To achieve that, they said they will display the three new devices during the event.

First on the list is the Gear VR which will go on sale for 2016. It's a motion controller that appears to slip over one of the user's hands. Samsung named it as "rink" and described as "an advanced hand-motion controller for mobile VR devices."

This device is in close competition against Oculus Touch which also promises users to have that nuanced way of interacting with objects displayed on screen. Because of that, this is considered one of the most sought device in Las Vegas CES expo.

Second device will the TipTalk which is a smartwatch strap that allows user to hear sound from any Samsung device just by pressing the finger to their ear. So, that means, if everyone is using this, there is no need to use headset anymore.

Samsung explained that they will be enhancing the clarity of the calls which will be received by the smartwatch. They planned to add the text-to-speech feature for the smartphone messages.

Third device to display in the CEO 2016 will be the Welt. This is a health tracking smart belt which is patterned after the Emiota's Belty from the last year. According to Samsung's descriptions, this is said to help the users to measure the user's waist size, steps, time spent sitting down, and eating habits.

The device will then send the date to an app which is supported in the health and weight management plans. Since it is shaped like a belt, Samsung's Welt does not bring hassle while traveling or doing something while wearing it.

Samsung's secretive Creative Lab (C-Labs) will be participating in the annual CES 2016 tech expo this coming January 6 to 9, 2016. The event will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
