Anna Duggar has decided to give her marriage with Josh another chance especially that they have kids and she believes that Josh can change. With that, Anna came to visit Josh in rehab to spend Christmas with him.
Apparently, Anna indeed stood with her vow to stay with his husband “for better or for worse” despite all the scandal and controversies. Anna visited her husband in the faith-based rehab center in Illinois with the commitment to make their marriage work.
Using one of the Duggar's planes, Anna reportedly left Illinois on Tuesday night and arrived back in Arkansas after 10pm based on aviation records. Josh is still in the rehab in Rockford, Illinois since summer to get treatment for his porn addiction and adultery.
“Everyone just had fun and seemed to be high spirits, including Anna,” a source said according to People magazine about their time together.
To recall, Josh once confessed that he is addicted to pornography and had committed adultery being one of the members of the cheating website, Ashley Madison. He even admitted having one night stands and called himself the "biggest hypocrite ever."
But despite that, Anna is willing to stay with Josh since she can see that he is sincere about getting treatment and to change his life.
“Anna wants to keep her family together and has decided to stay with Josh and make their marriage work,” an insider exclusively told Hollywood Life. “She told Josh that she forgives him and believes in him. This is a huge deal, because she was seriously about to pull the plug on the relationship. Needless to say, Josh is beyond elated with the news. He vowed to help Anna rebuild her trust in him.”
In an episode on "Jill and Jessa Counting On," Anna spoke about how she felt when she learned about the betrayal of Josh saying, "How could this happen in our marriage? Josh is my first love, he's my one and only."
"I didn't know what to do, I knew we needed help. My only hope was to cling to my faith. If I went off of what I was feeling, I would turn a mess into a disaster. It was such a betrayal for a spouse to go through what we're walking through. It was a betrayal for those that call themselves Christian. To vow before God to be loyal to each other, and that loyalty was broken," Anna added according to Mirror UK.
