"Fifty Shades Darker" star Jamie Dornan's fans are on high alert as the actor goes to Mossley Mill just outside Belfast to film "The Fall."
The TV series "The Fall" starring Dornan and Gillian Anderson will be filming scenes outside Belfast. The "Fifty Shades Darker" star's fans are delighted to know that their favorite actor will be shooting scenes in Mossley Mill.
According to Belfast Live, the BBC drama has chosen the council offices in Newtownabbey for filming a part of the show. The councilors from the area agreed that their offices can be used for the series after a meeting was held last Tuesday, Dec. 29.
Before choosing the offices in Mossley Mill, some representatives from Tiger Aspect productions, the company producing "The Fall," visited the offices in Newtownabbey to be certain it is what they wanted for their series. Ballymena Times reported that the representatives decided that it is where they wanted to film some of the scenes "primarily due to the uniqueness of the spaces including the distinctive architectural features."
The councilors from Antrim and Newtownabbey decided to allow the show to film in their offices after Alderman Mark Cosgrove mentioned to them that it was a good exposure for the place.
Cosgrove stated, "It is an opportunity to promote a civic building like this, one of the best examples of a regeneration project."
The council was offered a £ 1,000 as payment for the show's use of their offices. The production team requested that no staff of the council and the general public will be allowed to be in the area once filming starts in either February or March.
This will not stop Dornan's fans to flock in Mossley Mill though, especially after it was reported that the actor obliged to take pictures/selfies with his admirers during the filming of "The Fall" in areas in his home country, Ireland. Dornan plays Paul Spector, a serial killer, in "The Fall."
