'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Cast: Another 'Breaking Bad' Character to Appear in The AMC Spinoff

"Better Call Saul," the spinoff to AMC's hit "Breaking Bad" TV series, was a major success. Thanks to Bob Odenkirk's outstanding performance as the struggling lawyer Jimmy McGill or Saul Goodman and fans' continuous anticipation to see another "Breaking Bad" character, "Better Call Saul" is confirmed to return for Season 2 on AMC this year.

Again, the show's co-creator Vince Gilligan has teased fans that familiar "Breaking Bad" character is coming to season 2 of the hit spinoff, according to TV Insider. Gilligan said, "We revisit a character we met early in Season 1 of Breaking Bad and haven't seen since. It's going to be a fun tip of the hat."

It is most definitely not Bryan Cranston's Walter White. According to the Cinema Blend, "Breaking Bad's" meth distributor and DEA informant Domingo "Krazy-8" Molina, played by Maximino Arciniega, is the most likely bet. Krazy-8 is said to have played a big role in "Walter White's" transition to the dark side, being the first to have been killed directly by Walter White himself. In addition to that, what makes Krazy-8 very likely to appear for Season 2 is his brief stint in Season 1 of "Better Call Saul."

Going back to Gilligan's revelation on "Better Call Saul," fans can be assured that the spinoff series is looking at a bright future ahead. Gilligan also told TV Insider, "However, people who are expecting full-blown Saul Goodman probably need to take a breath, hold it, let it out and relax a little bit. Jimmy McGill is a character whom we find ourselves rooting for, so we don't want to say goodbye to him too quickly."

It sounds as if that the show creators are preparing more surprises with "Better Call Saul" which is why fans would not stop hoping for Walter White to appear sometime in the future. As for Krazy-8, we will all see how he would cross path with Saul, if he is indeed who Gilligan was referring to, when the show returns on AMC on Monday, Feb. 15.
