Every Episode in the Sixth and Final Season of 'Downton Abbey' Will be Worth Watching-- Here's Why

More men are expected to cross paths with the beautiful Lady Mary Crawley in "Downton Abbey's" sixth and final season.

The highly acclaimed British TV series "Downton Abbey" premiered last Sunday. The season finale kicked off with Lady Mary's past coming back to haunt her after an unwanted visitor surfaces.

As previously reported, the final season of "Downton Abbey" will run for only nine episodes. Many hinted that Lady Crawley will finally find love towards the end of the season finale after actress Michelle Dockery gave a hint while speaking about her character's potential love interest, Henry Talbot (Matthew Goode) in the show "This Morning." Dockery said, "There definitely is a chemistry between him and Lady Mary. At the moment it's looking good but we will have to see."

Now that one episode is already down, "Downton Abbey" fans should pay very close attention on the remaining episodes. Will Mary finally walk down the aisle to meet Henry at the altar in the final season? Many fans are dying to know but that question will most likely be answered at the end, which makes the entire season exciting to watch. According to The Daily Beast, Mary might never run out of suitors the only problem is that Mary could not seem to move past her ambiguous flame with Henry. There are also talks that Branson, her dead sister's surviving husband, will resurface in the last season, if so what purpose will his role serve.

Then the rest of the "Downton Abbey" story should not be ignored. According to USA Today, Robert Crawley (Hugh Bonneville) will be concerned not only about Mary and Edith's happiness, but the future of his estate's finances. And now he can add the conflict between his mother and his wife Cora (Elizabeth McGovern) over the local hospital to his list of worries.

So whether Lady Mary Crawley finds love or not, there is no need to rush, each episode will be worth watching.
