‘Outlander’ Season 2 Latest Spoilers: New Promotional Photos Released

The second season of "Outlander" becomes more exciting, and fans are already feeling the hype, thanks to the latest images released for the series. The latest photos of Claire and Jamie featured the couple clad in exquisite togs in silk with intricate details. The couple will reportedly infiltrate the French society while starting a family in the new episodes of "Outlander."

Entertainment Weekly released the exclusive image of the two lead starts of the action-packed drama series. Clad with impressive silks and stunning gems were Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughen who plays as Claire and Jamie in a setting inside the French court. The two are in a mission to infiltrate the prestigious French society in the upcoming new episodes of Outlander to stop the Battle of Culloden.

Getting the costumes right and on point in an era that is well-known to all of us is what the production and crew had to face in the filming of the season 2 of "Outlander". The series set in 18th century France will offer monumental costumes with laving beadwork and embroidery that will surely bring a different kind of flavor to the fans. From Scotland to France, Jamie and Claire will indeed transform as they become part of the elusive French court this new season.

Although there is no confirm release date for the series, several details about the script and the production were already made available for fans by the people behind the production of "Outlander." Cartermatt reports that Matthew B. Roberts already confirmed via a Tweet in social media that he is done writing the draft for the 13th episode of the show. The episode is co-written by Toni Graphia is now creating assumptions that producers of the show can now focus on developing season 3 of "Outlander" after presuming that episode 13 is the season finale for season 2 of the Starz series.

Season 2 of "Outlander" will return on Starz this coming spring of 2016. Lavish costumes and an enchanting 18th century French court setting will welcome back Claire and Jamie as they try to create history by stopping the Battle of Culloden.
